We started the weekend with lots of showers and thunderstorms, we will see a lesser chance for showers and storms for the second half of the weekend on Sunday.

  • Rain chances decrease for Sunday
  • Expect mostly cloudy skies on Sunday
  • Possible chance of showers Monday

With a steady flow of moisture from the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean, Saturday's weather come complete with lots of clouds, showers and even a few isolated thunderstorms.  Some ares had issues with localized flooding.  With the axis of moisture shifting to the east, our rain chances will slowly decrease through the rest of the night.  Only a few isolated showers are possible into early Sunday.

On Sunday, we can expect mostly cloudy skies and the chance for a few morning showers followed by a few more afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.  With a little more sun on Sunday, we are expecting warmer daytime highs.

A frontal boundary will sag southward by Monday and this should give the region another chance for showers and isolated thunderstorms as we begin the new week.
