This is according to a new review of excessive drinking rates in 381 metro areas by 24/7 Wall Street.
Rocky Mount was ranked 19th in the Top 20 of the “Driest Cities” section of the review.
On the other-side, Wisconsin is ranked as the drunkest state.
Ten of the top 20 cities in the country are in Wisconsin, including the top four.
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention says 18 percent of American adults drink excessively.
