CONCORD, N.C. -- Race fans get ready to start your engines, the NHRA 4 Wide Nationals are back at the zMax Dragway this weekend.

  • Leah Pritchett has been behind the wheel since 8 years old
  • This weekend marks her 100th career start
  • Race is at the zMax Dragway

For driver Leah Pritchett, this weekend marks a major milestone, her 100th career start.

Since the age of 8, Pritchett has been behind the wheel and on the track. She’s been seeing success in the male dominated sport, winning five races since 2016 while paving the way for other women in the sport.

“Yeah it’s a woman inside the racecar, but the race car doesn’t know any different,” Pritchett said. “And those Pennzoil parts and pieces in our Mopar are doing the same job and I love to be able to stand for that.”

If you would like to see Leah drive, or any other drivers compete, you can do so all weekend starting Saturday at the zMax Dragway.
