DURHAM, N.C. – Folks at the Museum of Life and Science in Durham are celebrating their newest arrivals – three red wolf pups.

The pups, two males and a female, arrived Saturday morning.

They were treated for some minor foot pad issues but were otherwise described as being in good health.

According to the Keeperblog, the first month is a critical time for the pups.

The red wolf is one of the most endangered species in the world.

The Museum of Life and Science is located at 433 West Murray Avenue in Durham.  It is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
