CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers fans, here is something to Keep Pounding about! The team has released the schedule for the 2018 season games.

  • WEEK 1 -- Dallas Cowboys
  • WEEK 2 -- Atlanta Falcons
  • WEEK 3 -- Cincinnati Bengals

To kick off the season, the team is doing something it has never done in franchise history. They will open the regular season with a home game against the Dallas Cowboys Sept. 9 at 4:25 p.m. in the Bank of America Stadium. This also marks just the second time the Panthers open a season at home in five years.

The farthest the team will travel this year will be to New Orleans. Last season, the team went 11-5 and lost in the Wild Card Round to the Saints. 

A pair of primetime games highlight the schedule. Thursday, Nov. 8, the team will take on the Steelers in Pittsburgh. Monday, Dec. 17, they will host New Orleans on Monday Night Football. 

The Panthers bye week falls in week four.
