IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. -- A driver was killed in a wreck in Iredell County early Thursday morning.

Authorities were called out to Harmony Highway at East Houstonville Road near Statesville.

They say the driver ran off the road and hit a tree, setting the car completely on fire.

There's no word on who the victim is or what caused the crash.
