There is very little chance central North Carolina will see rain for at least the next week - possibly longer. Early next week low pressure tracking south of the state will just bring a slight chance for showers around Monday.

For the rest of this week, just look for plenty of sunshine along with up and down temperatures. Tuesday will be a little breezy at times with highs just in the 60s. We'll warm to near 80 Wednesday before cooler air returns for the end of the week.

Thursday's highs will be in the 70s. Highs in the 60s are forecast for Friday and the weekend.
