After a chilly start to the workweek, we'll finally see warmer weather on Wednesday with lots of sunshine.

The air mass over North Carolina is finally starting to moderate and we will have more April-like weather over the next two days.

We are expecting cool temperatures tonight but nothing like the very cold temperatures we saw Monday night. A cold front will slip into the northern parts of the state early Wednesday. This might produce a few clouds for the north parts of North Carolina. No precipitation is expected since the air mass over us is fairly dry.

High pressure will give the area sunshine on Wednesday along with breezy conditions and those warm afternoon highs.

A cold front will cross the region on Thursday. It too will produce a few clouds but no precipitation. Behind this front, temperatures will cool for the end of the week and the weekend.
