A nice warm up to finish off the weekend and carry us into the workweek. High pressure off the east coast and a cold front to our north and west will allow for a light southerly flow across the Carolinas. This will allow temperatures to be running up to degrees above north through mid-week.

Highs will range through the 70s across central North Carolina and morning lows in the upper 40s to mid 50s until a cold front delivers cooler air for Thursday.

Showers and thunderstorms are expected Wednesday with that cold front, it is a little too early to tell if any of those storms will produce severe weather, but stay tuned, we’ll keep you informed.
