FAYETTEVILLE – A 63-year-old woman was injured Monday when she was hit by bullets while sitting inside her Fayetteville home.
It happened on Rochester Drive.
Police say the woman was sitting in her living room when she was hit by a shot from an AK-47 going through the wall and hitting both her legs.
She was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
At last report, there was no word on any suspects.
