From record-breaking warmth to the chill of February in one day. Many cities across the Tar Heel State tied or broke the record high for Friday. These include:

- Wilmington 80°
- New Bern 81°
- Elizabeth City 81°
No records will be broken for Saturday, but we do have another chance at record high mid-week. Cloudy and cool for Saturday with periods of light rain and drizzle by afternoon and into the evening.
Any morning clouds Sunday will give way to mostly sunny skies and highs ranging through the low to mid 60s.
Monday will bring a slight chance for a shower or two as afternoon temperatures climbing into the mid to upper 60s. Mid to upper 70s for Tuesday and Wednesday when we could see some records fall again.
