INTERNATIONAL – The international sweet treat maker Cadbury is recalling their Caramilk chocolate after pieces of plastic were found inside.

Small flexible pieces of plastic were discovered as the result of a machinery issue during manufacturing. Cadbury is warning that if the plastic is consumed it might cause minor injuries.

Consumers are asked to avoid the product and return it to where they purchased it for a full refund. A proof of purchase is not required.

The recalled Cadbury Caramilk products have the expiration date of Jan. 17, 2019 and Jan. 21, 2019.

Cadbury said the product was only sold in Australia, but many are wondering if this is an issue that might arise in other parts of the world.
