There are still a few piles of snow left; today’s warm weather should finish them off.

Ample sunshine and a light southwest breeze will help boost Sunday afternoon temperatures in the low to mid 60s. Fair skies and mild overnight with patchy fog possible, look for lows in the mid 30s to near 40.

An approaching cold front will bring increasing clouds across the Tar Heel State for Monday. Rain developing late Monday night, continuing on through noon Tuesday. Still warm with highs both days in the low to mid 60s.

Clearing and cooler for the rest of the work week with highs back into the 50s. It looks as if we are in for another warm up by next weekend.
