ORLANDO, Fla. — It has now become a Thanksgiving weekend tradition, as thousands of college football fans watch the Knights battle the Bulls.

For many, the "War on I-4" has become a family tradition.

"You know, it's something good for right after Thanksgiving, and we have the game to look forward to every year," said Shawn Mcilvenna, a UCF Football fan.

Mcilvenna and his family come out every year in their black and gold ready to watch the “War on I-4” play out.

While this is their post-Thanksgiving tradition, for others, the UCF versus USF game is just a continuation of the holiday, where families and fans, despite any rivalries, come from all over the state for one special match-up.

"It's just fun, and we spend time with our family and everyone comes out, so why not come,” said USF supporter Hailey Cascio.

The two teams will face each other on Friday, November 23 this year.
