RALEIGH -- Clouds increased across the area on Tuesday, as developing low pressure starting moving up and off the southeast coast.  This low pressure will move northward through the night, bringing with it more clouds and an increase in showers.  Most, if not all, of the precipitation is expected to occur during the overnight hours.

By Wednesday morning, the low will begin to move away from the North Carolina coast.  As it does, a cold front will sweep across the area.  Clouds will decrease and we'll see mostly sunny conditions by the afternoon.

This high will remain in control of our weather through Thanksgiving.  Thursday will be partly cloudy and dry with cool daytime highs.
