FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- A Fayetteville veteran is starting a new business that uses green energy to power several types of vehicles.

Eric Nkosi owns Exemplary Vertical Applications. His innovations are an example of the impact Fayetteville city and Cumberland County officials believe military veterans could have on the local economy.

"The talent and skills that we have at Fort Bragg, we often time take it for granted," said Economic Development Corporation's Teddy Warren. "We have some of the most brilliant minds in the world right here in our backyard."

Nkosi says that along with marketing five different kinds of electrical vehicles, he's also working on a modular home project that could be set up quickly for people who need shelter after a natural disaster.
