Visitors to the North Carolina State Fair will continue to enjoy great weather for the rest of this week through the upcoming weekend!

It certainly has felt like fair weather early Wednesday morning with lows dropping into the 30s over much of central North Carolina.  That's the coolest temperature felt in Raleigh since this past April.

A gradual warming trend is ahead for the rest of the week.  Plenty of sun will warm temperatures to near 70 and the low 70s Wednesday afternoon.  The mid and upper 70s are likely for Thursday and Friday.  Early morning temperatures should still drop to the 40s for the rest of the week.

Sunny and dry weather will continue through the weekend.  Highs both Saturday and Sunday should top out in the upper 70s to near 80.

Our next chance for rain will come after the end of the State Fair.  A front will bring the chance for showers and a few storms around Monday or Tuesday of next week.
