FAYETTEVILLE -- Students in a history class at Jack Britt High School are learning about the sacrifices and endurance of another generation that served in the greatest war in history nearly 75 years ago. And those lessons are designed to help keep the legacy of what some call The Greatest Generation alive.

Time Warner Cable News reporter David shows us how that history is affecting the lives of the students and how Cumberland County is preparing for a big event next week to commemorate the service of the World War II generation.
