CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Loft & Cellar takes inspiration from the past to make something truly new and a global palate to make food that represents Charlotte.

  • Signature Dish: Southern Pad Thai -beer noodles, tea brined chicken, shrimp, ham hock, radish, pickled quail egg, edamame, boiled peanuts and chicharrons
  • Style: International Fusion
  • Address: 305 W 4th St. Charlotte, NC 28202

The restaurant fuses traditional recipes and international flavors with modern American tastes and upscale cocktails.

"You will find food you've never seen before paired with food you've obviously had over and over again,” Loft & Cellar executive chef Nicolas Daniels said. “There's so many different flavor profiles. There's so many different cultures here."

Chef Daniels is Chilean born, globally educated, and trying to create an experience you can only find in Charlotte.

“Look at our menu and see a dish from Japan, a dish from China, a dish from Northern Africa,” Chef Daniels said. “And share plates and share an experience unlike anything else you can find."

Bringing a taste of the world to a table in the Queen City.
