HARRISBURG, N.C. -- Sunflour Baking Company, born in Charlotte, has four locations, including one in Harrisburg along Highway 49.

The hot spot is known for its specialty treats for that sweet tooth craving.

"Definitely cupcakes. Also our key lime pies. Our individual ones are four inch, and we build the crust up on its sides,” said Kayla Miller, a store manager.

The Harrisburg location, close to the University area, is perfect for that business meeting or for students.

"I hate chain restaurants. I think Charlotte is filled with them. Finding a nice quiet space for me to just sit and have a pastry with a friend or coffee with a friend...it's really heartwarming to have,” said Cheyenne Guest.

Waking up as early as 3 a.m., the Sunflour Baking crew has just as much fun behind the scenes, making it true to one of its sayings "bake someone happy."
