Down Town tells the band’s story of watching as their neighbors, and hometown, weather the hurricane but pull together in their time of need.

Featuring lyrics like “we’ve all weathered our fair share of storms, ain’t nothing we ain’t seen before, we get hit get knocked down, get back up for another round ‘round here.  This ain’t no going downtown when trouble comes around town,” the song was written in hopes of inspiring people as they work to get back on their feet.

The band’s four members, brothers Matt and Scott Thomas, cousin Barry Knox, and their best friend Josh McSwain, sat down with Spectrum News anchor Caroline Blair to explain why they decided to not only create the tribute song but also a new music video. All proceeds are going to the Red Cross to help those impacted by this devastating storm.
