CARY, N.C. -- If you’re ready for good food, good drinks and good times this weekend, the Triangle is the place to be.

Booth Amphitheatre in Cary is playing host to this year’s Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival, a two day event that’s sure to wow crowds. The night and day of beer sippin’, bourbon tastin’ and toe tappin’ kicks off Friday night at 6pm, and starts back up Saturday for a whole new day of fun.

Spectrum News anchor Caroline Blair sat down with Dave Walker of the festival for a look at what the two day event has to offer. Pitmaster Bobby Scott, owner of Fat Boys Barbecue and Catering, also joined them on set to show us how the delicious fall off the bone barbecue is made. The two explained how the event is more than just a good time, but also an educational experience on how the food and drinks are made.

All guests receive a glass with the festival logo for the tastings, unlimited beer and spirit drinks and options for barbecue galore. Friday night guests get to enjoy a plate with all the fixings as part of their ticket, and vendors will be set up throughout the amphitheatre serving different food and drinks.
