RALEIGH — The young kids who make up the Intensive Training Program at Stage Door Dance Productions know a thing or two about heartache.  While they range in age from 6 to 17, these students are gaining real world knowledge of philanthropy and helping fellow children in need.

Since August 2017, the troop has worked to organize, produce, and market the upcoming A Concert For The Kids, an inspiring, family friendly variety show and silent auction that is helping to benefit the Me Fine Foundation.

The Me Fine Foundation provides financial and emotional support for the families of patients that are being treated at Duke Children’s Hospital, WakeMed, and UNC Children’s Hospital. To help with their cause, the concert is looking to raise some $12,000.

The show will feature dance performances, singing from local theatre favorites, and a silent auction. A Concert For The Kids is Saturday, March 3 at 4 p.m.  at Stewart Theatre at NC State University. Tickets range from $10- $12 and can be purchased online.
