NORTH CAROLINA -- Parts of North Carolina could see some form of winter weather this weekend.

A low pressure system will head into the region on Saturday, and there's the potential to see wintry precipitation in some regions.

It is still too early to tell exactly what the area could get and how much, with both the European and GFS models showing different tracks. Regardless, it seems certain that the greatest impacts would be to the north and west of the Piedmont.
