CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- North Carolina will look to snap a six-game losing streak as they step out of conference to host Western Carolina this Saturday in Chapel Hill. The Heels feel to rival Duke for the third straight year this past weekend and once again, the effort was there but the end result was not.

Carolina is now 1-8 on the season and they could sure use a win over the Catamounts out of the FCS, but the question will be if they'll give maximum effort during their week of preparation.

Head Coach Larry Fedora responded by saying, "It's a good question but I don't worry about it. I don't expect that to happen. I believe that our leadership will do a great job in that locker room and our guys will be ready to go on Tuesday. And if we do a great job of preparing all week, there won't be a let down."
