CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s homicide unit is conducting a death investigation after the discovery a body in a car in east Charlotte.

The man's body was found outside an apartment complex on Roseview Lane off Eastway Drive just before 11 p.m. Wednesday night.

Police have not released his name or said how he died, but are looking for any witnesses in the area.
