GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Police responded to the area of Oakland Avenue and Chapman Court Wednesday morning in reference to a motor vehicle crash.

Officers located a 2016 Mercedes upside down at a local parking lot.

The passenger of the vehicle, Cameron May, was reported deceased. The driver of the vehicle, Ahmed Sinada, fled the scene but was located by police.

The 18-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with Felony Hit and Run and Misdemeanor Death by Vehicle. He is currently under a $100,000 bond.

The Crash Reconstruction Unit is still conducting an investigation.
