Teen centers at four locations were recently renovated, creating a more welcoming space for the young adults who are a part of the club.
The work includes things like a new paint job, new furniture, and lighting.
"I try to do certain things that help them. Be a great showing for them to have. This is big, this is important, and a need in the communities that may not have the best or whatever,” said Newton.
Known for his fashion sense, Newton gave a nod of approval to the freshened up rooms.
"There’s a lot of different things they're doing - little small steps in cleanliness is a good notch to swag, sauce, goo, drip - Whatever you want to call it,” added Newton.
In the coming months, the four teen centers will each get a set of Chromebooks for kids to enjoy.
