LEWISVILLE, N.C. -- Officers with the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office are searching for suspects in a robbery and arson that happened Saturday, October 20.

  • Occured at the Stop and Save store located at 6641 Styers Ferry Road
  • Both suspects tied up the clerk and poured accelerant all over the store
  • Suspects left with an undisclosed amount of money, beer and clerk's car

The incident occured at the Stop and Save store located at 6641 Styers Ferry Road.

Authorities determined that two suspects had entered the store around 9:40 p.m. and demanded money from the clerk with a gun.

Both suspects tied up the clerk and poured accelerant all over the store. After starting a fire, they left with an undisclosed amount of money, beer, etc.

The suspects also managed to steal the clerk's vehicle. It was discovered unoccupied in Davie County just before midnight.

The clerk was treated for his injuries and taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Fire officials estimate the damage to the store as a result of the fire totaled $200,000.

  • white male
  • 25-35 years of age
  • 6'4"
  • short black hair
  • tan/brown jacket, blue jeans, black t-shirt and work boots

The second suspect is described as:

  • white male
  • approximately 60 years of age
  • 5'6"-5'8"
  • black pants, black t-shirt, white sailor's hat

The suspect's vehicle is described as:

  • white Ford F-350 truck
  • dual rear wheels
