BURLINGTON, N.C. -- Three people were injured when the car they were in slammed into a house in Burlington.

• On Saturday evening a car slammed into a Burlington home
• Three in the car were injured
• The one person in the home was not injured

This happened Saturday evening on Austin Street.

Police say Jennifer Harrelson was distracted as she approached a curve in the road and lost control of her vehicle hitting the home.

The crash did about $20,000 in damage to the house and totaled the car.

One person was home but wasn't injured.

Everyone who was in the car is expected to be OK.
