GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA -- Tuesday will still feel like summer, with muggy high temperatures in the 80s. A few light rain showers today, with an isolated thunderstorm possible. 

Impacts from Hurricane Michael begin Wednesday, in the form of periods of heavy rain and some thunderstorms. Then as the storm moves over North Carolina on Thursday, expect widespread rain and gusty wind.

With a cold front approaching from the west, Michael with pack a quick punch before heading out to sea on Friday. Then we welcome with much deserved fall weather, with comfortable sunshine. Morning lows will drop to the 40s and 50s, with afternoon highs in the 60s and 70s.
