GREENSBORO, N.C. -- A cold front has stalled to the south of the area and that will lead to more clouds and "coolish" temperatures for tonight and Monday.  Now, a passing shower cannot be ruled out but any rain will remain very light for our region.

  • The stalled front will wash out by mid-week and that will lead to less cloud cover and warmer weather
  • Highs are expected to reach the lower 80s by Tuesday
  • A wave of low pressure is scheduled to pass along the Carolina Coast

The stalled front will wash out by mid-week and that will lead to less cloud cover and warmer weather.

Highs are expected to reach the lower 80s by Tuesday, with middle 80s likely for Wednesday.

Meanwhile, a wave of low pressure is scheduled to pass along the Carolina Coast. Although tropical development is not out of the question, the system should remain weak. That said, areas of rain will sweep along and east of I-95 with little to no impacts for the Triad.

Finally, another cold will approach the Carolinas by late week bringing better rain and storm chances to Central NC.
