The city of Winston-Salem is looking for volunteers to help clean-up Eastern North Carolina. The Minister’s Conference of Winston-Salem & Vicinity, the city and other local organizations want a diverse group of construction workers, medical professionals and every day people to join them on a week long trip to Onslow, one of the hardest counties hit by Hurricane Florence.

Reverend Lamonte Williams it’s important for the community to get involved. “They are on the east coast, I'm in the piedmont, what difference does it make? Because we mourn with them today but we don't know what tomorrow holds." The team plans to leave when they get the ok from safety officials in eastern North Carolina.
