As we head into the weekend we will see the end of summer as Autumn begins at 9:54 p.m. Saturday evening. These last few days of summer will certainly feel like summer.

Expect areas of low clouds and fog to start your Friday, then there will be ample sunshine to warm us back up into the mid to upper 80s.

As we head into Saturday a frontal system will approach the region and stall over the weekend, bringing an increase of clouds and rain to the Triad; a few showers Saturday evening, then a better chance by Sunday afternoon. By the time we get to Sunday we’ll see a bit of a cool down as highs drop into the upper 70s.
