NORTH CAROLINA – President Donald Trump has approved a major disaster declaration for North Carolina.
FEMA announced Saturday that federal disaster assistance will be made available to assist in recovery

This makes federal funding available to affected individuals in Beaufort, Brunswick, Carteret, Craven, New Hanover, Onslow, Pamlico and Pender counties for temporary housing, home repairs and low-cost loans to cover uninsured property losses.
Individuals and business owners who sustained losses in the designated area can begin applying for assistance by registering online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov or by calling 1-800-621-3362.
