GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The Greensboro Police Department is investigating a hit and run that left a woman dead earlier this month.

41-year-old Tiffiney Williams was hit at the Mobil Fairway One-stop Convenience Store on South Elm-Eugene Street on Aug. 4.

Police say someone driving a Mercedes-Benz hit her and then reversed purposely hitting her again. Williams was taken to the hospital where she later died.

The car in the hit and run has been identified as a silver 1998 to 2001 Mercedes series E-320 with the AMG package option.

The driver is believed to be a medium to heavy build black male between 5'10" and 6'1".
