GREENSBORO, N.C. -- We had a very humid weekend, and it was also a weekend that featured a good number of scattered showers and storms at times.

The showers and storms remained with us in some areas through the night last night and into this morning, and a very soupy airmass remains in place. As we head through our Monday, scattered storms will remain a forecast highlight with highs in the 80s. As is typical, a few storms could produce gusty winds, lots of lightning, and heavy rain.

A sharp cold front will move into the area by Tuesday evening. Ahead of that front, we will need to watch the severe weather potential with any late day or evening storms tomorrow.

Following the front, a much cooler and drier airmass will arrive. The weather looks fantastic Thursday through Saturday with sunshine, low humidity, and cooler temperatures. Awesome stuff!
