WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- A double murder is being investigated in the Twin City on Tuesday evening.

• Police are investigating at Easton Park, off of Glen Carin Road
• They are currently working on identifying the men and informing their families
• They received a call around 12:30 p.m. about two people who appeared dead inside an SUV

Police are investigating at Easton Park, off of Glen Carin Road, attempting to find out what led to a double shooting.

They received a call around 12:30 p.m. about two people who appeared dead inside an SUV.

Once on the scene, they discovered two men in their mid-20s inside the car.

One local neighbor said she often calls the city about maintenance and vandalism but never thought she would have to call about a shooting.

Police said the investigation is still in its early stages. They are currently working on identifying the men and informing their families.
