GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Some drier air worked into our area yesterday, and we enjoyed a little breath of fresh air with lower humidity values in place. The break from typical mid-summer humidity continues for one final day today with highs in the 80s and a good bit of sun. Some showers will remain possible in the mountains and southern foothills, but our viewing area is likely to remain dry.

  • Break from humidity continues for one more day.
  • Showers remain possible.
  • Humidty ups again for Friday.

Humidity will increase for Friday, but rain chances will remain pretty low tomorrow with highs in the 80s.

A complex weather setup then begins to unfold this weekend. In fact, this weekend looks to be the beginning of a fairly unsettled weather pattern that could last for most of next week. So, beginning Saturday, look for some good scattered shower and storm chances.
