GREENSBORO, N.C. -- A reasonably strong mid-summer cold front will push across the region late tonight. 

  • Scattered showers and storms are expected for the Triad
  • Slightly cooler and less humid weather will work into the area on Wednesday
  • Daytime highs in the upper 80s are anticipated

Ahead of the front, scattered showers and storms are expected for the Triad. Most will occur through late evening, but a few could lingering into the overnight hours.

A more moist flow is set to begin this weekend and that should lead to the return of scattered showers and storms.  In fact, a change to a more unsettled weather pattern appear to take hold by early next work week.
