HIGH POINT -- With a stroke of a brush, a noted artist is painting High Point's history on the side of the Washington Quick Mart at the corner of Washington and Centennial.

  • The artist is from the Virgin Islands and has been working on the mural for almost a month
  • The piece will include a train, Thomas Built Buses and William Penn High School
  • The mural should be done in the next two months or so

"It's what I like to do, it's my passion. I was just in Boston and did a mural for the Boston Public Schools and then came here. And I'll be traveling for nine months painting, and I'll be in South Africa," said Carolyn Roblyer.

The mural should be done in the next two months or so.
