SPRING LAKE, N.C. -- Residents at Garden Grove Mobile Home Park in Fayetteville can now breathe a sigh of relief. That's because they have resources to find a new place to live.

Neighbors are facing evictions if the property manager doesn't fix the site's water and sewage issues by July 1. Cumberland County officials reached out to the owner and have not heard back.

Wednesday night, Community Development Works stepped in to help. Now, residents have meetings scheduled next week to discuss new living arrangements.

"I really didn't think we were going to get any help," resident Christina Sweeny said. "I thought they were going to just brush us under the table and thought they were going to say just move."

According to Cumberland County officials, residents at the Garden Grove Mobile Home Park have to begin the process of moving by July 1 or they'll be evicted.
