A humid airmass remains in place around the Carolinas. However, high temperatures will be warming up a bit over the next couple of days as we wrap up the week. Highs today will make it into the mid 80s with highs near 90 tomorrow.

  • Highs will be in the mid 80s for Thursday.
  • Friday highs will be near 90.
  • Scattered showers and storms to remain in forecast through weekend.

Scattered showers and storms will remain in the forecast today and through the weekend. However, we are looking at more of your typical pop-up afternoon variety of storms as opposed to the widespread flooding rains we've had at times this week.

A major pattern change is then on the way for next week. An upper air trough will carve out over the eastern US, and that trough will deliver much cooler and drier air to the region. The result? A much different weather week next week compared to this week!
