ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. -- A Salisbury man is charged with indecent exposure and trespassing after the Rowan County Sheriff's Office says he exposed himself on Earnhardt Road near Highway 52 east around midnight Thursday.

  • Charles Lomax allegedly exposed himself on Earnhardt Road.
  • Homeowners saw him.
  • He told authorities he was the "son of God" and used methamphetamine.

Deputies say a homeowner had seen a man later identified as 23-year-old Charles Lomax on his back porch.

They also say Lomax told them he was the son of God and had used methamphetamine earlier in the day.

Lomax is being held at the Rowan County Detention Center on a $2,500 bond.
