GREENSBORO, N.C. -- A triple shooting left two people dead and another in critical condition Tuesday evening.

• Two people are dead, one with serious injuries
• Happened on Gant Street
• Police investigating it as a homicide

Greensboro police are trying to figure out what happened inside a home on Gant Street. They say the incident was not a random act. Neighbors say the neighborhood has been quiet for a while, but it seems like the violence is back.

 “It was scary. My baby (was) outside playing. He’s only one, gunshots flying around. Bullets don’t got no name on it,” resident Nyesia Tinley said.

Greensboro police say they received several calls before 5 p.m. about a shooting and when they arrived, they found three victims with gunshot wounds. One person was pronounced dead at the scene.

They are investigating the shooting as a homicide.
