GREENSBORO, N.C. -- A new creative space in downtown opened its doors on May 12.

  • Hub for artists, creators, and like minds to have a space for collaboration.
  • Interested artists can find his contact info on the outside of the building.
  • Character of the historic building is a draw but the people are just as important.

Studio 503 is a hub for artists, creators, and like minds to have a space for collaboration, events, and more.

Developers have restored the early 20th century building on East Washington Street and parceled it into an art studio.

They say the character of the historic building is a draw but the people are just as important.

"There can be a collaboration among the artists," says co-owner Andy Zimmerman. "Someone could be able to talk to a photographer that might be able to photograph somebody's artwork. I think it's the people that really make the place."

Zimmerman also says the space is about 75% leased.

Interested artists can find his contact info on the outside of the building.
