WILMINGTON, N.C. -- Female officers in the Wilmington Police Department will soon star in a new Lifetime show called "Live PD Presents: Women on Patrol."

The show is a spin-off of the popular series "Live PD" on A&E, but will focus specifically on female officers in the line of duty.
Lifetime Spokesperson, Fina Nocero, says the first season of the show will run for 24 episodes, the first of which will air on June 4 at 9 p.m.
The series will feature officers from Wilmington, Wyoming, Arizona and California.
