WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- There will be some road blocks in downtown Winston-Salem over the next week-and-a-half.

Workers are using a crane to move equipment to the top of the Winston Tower building.

While it's there, a portion of Main and Third streets are shut down.

Main Street -- between Second and Fourth Street, and Third Street -- between Church and Liberty -- are closed to traffic.

They're going to remain closed until April 19, with detours posted for drivers.

The city says all the buildings within that zone will remain accessible on foot.
