After a round of light snow across much of the Triad the past morning, drier weather is set to return for the end of the week. However, despite sunshine and milder temperatures (compared to today) for Thursday, conditions will still be well below normal for early spring.  In fact, below-average temps are expected to continue through the weekend and even into next week.

Another round of rain and wintry weather is looking possible over the weekend. It's still a bit early to talk about accumulations at this point, but I wouldn't be surprised to see areas along and north of I-40 with snow sticking over the weekend. As mentioned, cold temperatures will hang around early next week, but fingers are crossed for a big warm-up about a week from now.
