SILER CITY, N.C. -- A Chatham County man hit it big last week when his five dollar ticket returned a $250,000 prize. 

Luis Arellano of Siler City had luck on his side when he played the 20X The Cash scratch-off.

Arellano claimed his prize Friday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. After tax withholdings, he took home $176,254.
